Description and features of Mimulavo
Mimulavo is a refurbished 8-metre decorative light string designed to provide ambient lighting for events, covered terraces, sheltered gardens, businesses and interiors. The lamp covers are made of polyethylene, a strong and lightweight material, and the collection is available in various colour finishes, depending on availability.
It is available in two versions: corded and solar-powered with a rechargeable battery. Both have 10 built-in LED lights with a warm 3000 K light, but differ in light output and power supply.
10 built-in LED lights
Mimulavo has 10 light points spread over 8 metres. The polyethylene lamp covers protect the light source and provide a robust appearance that easily fits into various environments.
The LEDs are built-in and cannot be replaced like individual bulbs.
More powerful corded version
The corded version operates between 85 and 265 V and delivers 50 lumens per light point. This version does not have a battery and cannot be charged via solar power.
This is intended for a fixed installation with a nearby power outlet and cannot be connected in series.
Solar version + rechargeable battery
The cordless configuration offers 35 lumens, charging via solar power and also charging via a power outlet at 5 V.
The battery lasts up to 10 hours, whether charged via solar power or via the power outlet. Includes a USB to Micro-USB cable and a twilight sensor, so it turns on automatically when it gets dark.
Refurbished product and IP44
Mimulavo is sold as a refurbished product, thus giving a second life to a well-functioning lamp that may show minor cosmetic imperfections related to the condition in which it is.
Both versions have protection class IP44 for indoor use and outdoors under a cover. The corded version is suitable if you are looking for more power and a continuous power supply, while the solar-powered + battery version offers more freedom when placing it.
Before installing the lamp, it is useful to check the available length, the mounting points and, depending on the version, the path of the cord or the placement of the solar panel. Neat installation ensures that the light beam remains well positioned and prevents unnecessary strain during use.

When shipping outside the EU, import duties and local VAT may be charged by the customs of the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
Delivery time
- The expected delivery time is stated for each product.
- If you order multiple products, your order may arrive in more than one package. You only pay shipping costs once.
Track and trace
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the track-and-trace code.
Damaged package?
If the packaging is visibly damaged, take a photo before opening the package and report it to info@battery-lighting.com. We will resolve the issue free of charge.
Batteries and shipping
We ship products with lithium batteries according to the carrier's rules. For some products, shipping outside the EU is therefore not possible; this will be indicated on the product page.
Delay
If we are unable to deliver on time, we will let you know as soon as possible. You can then cancel the order free of charge.

Returns in brief
- You have 14 days to change your mind after receiving your order.
- Report your return by email to info@battery-lighting.com within those 14 days, including your order number.
- Return the product within 14 days of reporting it. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- We will refund the purchase price and the standard shipping costs within 14 days via your original payment method.
How to return an item
- Report your return by email, including your order number.
- You will receive a confirmation with the return address.
- Pack the product securely, preferably in its original packaging, with all parts, charger and cable.
- Send the package and keep your proof of postage.
You may inspect and try the product as you would in a store. If it has been used for an extended period, is damaged or incomplete, we may deduct an amount for the loss in value. Products made to order at your request, such as light strings in a specific length, cannot be returned.
Broken or delivered incorrectly?
If a product is defective, arrived damaged or is not what you ordered, please send a photo to info@battery-lighting.com. We will arrange a free replacement or refund.
Warranty
You are always entitled to a product that does what you can expect it to do. If it breaks within a reasonable period through no fault of your own, we will resolve the issue by repairing it, replacing it or refunding you. If the manufacturer offers an additional warranty, this will be stated with the product.
Batteries
Batteries gradually lose capacity with normal use, causing the operating time to become shorter over time. This is not a defect. If a battery clearly deteriorates faster than you would expect, please contact us.
No warranty in case of
- use contrary to the manual or charging with an unsuitable charger;
- outdoor use of a product not intended for that purpose (see the IP rating);
- fall or impact damage and self-performed repairs.

Not satisfied? Email your complaint with your order number to info@battery-lighting.com. We will confirm receipt within 2 working days and respond in substance within 14 days.
