Beschrijving en kenmerken van Hiama
Hiama is een 5 meter lange decoratieve lichtslinger die is ontworpen om een gezellige sfeer te creëren met 10 lampjes met vlam-effect. Elk lichtpunt heeft een lampenkap van gevlochten bamboe en een haak aan de bovenkant, waardoor je hem makkelijk kunt ophangen aan constructies, pergola’s, overdekte terrassen, evenementen en horecagelegenheden.
Het is verkrijgbaar in twee uitvoeringen: snoer en op zonne-energie. Beide hebben hetzelfde lichteffect van 1800 K en een natuurlijke uitstraling, maar bieden verschillende installatiemogelijkheden.
10 lampen met vlam-effect van 1800 K
De verlichting van Hiama bootst een visueel effect na dat lijkt op een vlam, met een heel warme kleur-kleurentemperatuur van 1800 K. Het dient vooral als sfeerverlichting en decoratie.
De 10 lampen zitten ingebouwd en de bamboe lampenkappen versterken het natuurlijke en gezellige karakter van de lichtslinger.
Versie met snoer
De uitvoering met snoer werkt op netstroom tussen 220 en 240 V. Er is geen oplaadbare accu of zonne-oplader ingebouwd.
Deze is bedoeld voor vaste installaties waar een stopcontact in de buurt is. Je kunt deze niet in serie aansluiten op andere Hiama-lichtslingers.
Zonneversie met schemersensor
De zonne-uitvoering geeft 2 lumen en heeft een autonomie van maximaal 8 uur. Je kunt hem niet elektrisch opladen en er zit geen oplader bij.
Het heeft een schemersensor, waardoor het automatisch aangaat als het omgevingslicht afneemt. Dit is vooral handig op overdekte terrassen of in beschutte tuinen waar je de verlichting ’s avonds automatisch wilt laten aangaan.
IP44 voor overdekte buitenruimtes
Zowel de versie met snoer als de zonneversie hebben beschermingsklasse IP44 en zijn geschikt voor overdekte buitenruimtes. Je kunt ze ook binnen en in andere geschikte, beschutte ruimtes gebruiken.
De bamboe lampenkappen moeten worden onderhouden zoals je dat bij een natuurlijk materiaal doet: vermijd blootstelling aan zwaardere omstandigheden dan bedoeld en langdurige vochtigheid.
Bij woonprojecten, in de horeca of bij evenementen kun je met Hiama kleine lichtpuntjes met een heel warme gloed en vlam-effect verspreiden langs pergola’s, constructies, bars of feestruimtes.
Voordat je het installeert, is het handig om de beschikbare lengte, het traject van de snoer of de plaats van het zonnepaneel en de benodigde bevestigingspunten te bekijken. Om het in goede staat te houden, is het aan te raden de haken goed vast te zetten, te voorkomen dat de snoer te strak wordt gespannen en het bamboe met zachte methoden schoon te maken.

When shipping outside the EU, import duties and local VAT may be charged by the customs of the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the recipient.
Delivery time
- The expected delivery time is stated for each product.
- If you order multiple products, your order may arrive in more than one package. You only pay shipping costs once.

As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the track-and-trace code.
Damaged package?
If the packaging is visibly damaged, take a photo before opening the package and report it to info@battery-lighting.com. We will resolve the issue free of charge.
Batteries and shipping
We ship products with lithium batteries according to the carrier's rules. For some products, shipping outside the EU is therefore not possible; this will be indicated on the product page.
Delay
If we are unable to deliver on time, we will let you know as soon as possible. You can then cancel the order free of charge.

Returns in brief
- You have 14 days to change your mind after receiving your order.
- Report your return by email to info@battery-lighting.com within those 14 days, including your order number.
- Return the product within 14 days of reporting it. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- We will refund the purchase price and the standard shipping costs within 14 days via your original payment method.
How to return an item
- Report your return by email, including your order number.
- You will receive a confirmation with the return address.
- Pack the product securely, preferably in its original packaging, with all parts, charger and cable.
- Send the package and keep your proof of postage.
You may inspect and try the product as you would in a store. If it has been used for an extended period, is damaged or incomplete, we may deduct an amount for the loss in value. Products made to order at your request, such as light strings in a specific length, cannot be returned.
Broken or delivered incorrectly?
If a product is defective, arrived damaged or is not what you ordered, please send a photo to info@battery-lighting.com. We will arrange a free replacement or refund.
Warranty
You are always entitled to a product that does what you can expect it to do. If it breaks within a reasonable period through no fault of your own, we will resolve the issue by repairing it, replacing it or refunding you. If the manufacturer offers an additional warranty, this will be stated with the product.
Batteries
Batteries gradually lose capacity with normal use, causing the operating time to become shorter over time. This is not a defect. If a battery clearly deteriorates faster than you would expect, please contact us.
No warranty in case of
- use contrary to the manual or charging with an unsuitable charger;
- outdoor use of a product not intended for that purpose (see the IP rating);
- fall or impact damage and self-performed repairs.

Not satisfied? Email your complaint with your order number to info@battery-lighting.com. We will confirm receipt within 2 working days and respond in substance within 14 days.
